You might like this if...
You'd choose a good walk over a packed sightseeing list.
You like seeing Seoul change as you move through it — from hanok roofs to city lights.
One thing people keep saying...
Bukchon in the afternoon, Namsan by sunset? Why does this work so well?
Before you go...
Check the sunset time first — seriously.
Aim to reach Namsan about 20–30 minutes before sunset, then work backward from there.
Wear shoes you actually want to walk in.
Bukchon means hills, stone paths, stairs, and probably a few alleys you didn't mean to take.
The Craft Museum is optional.
Got an hour? Go in. Running late? Skip it and save the light for Namsan.
Give yourself plenty of time to get to Namsan.
This is the one part of the day you don't want to rush.
